Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 17 at 5:37PM CDT until June 17 at 6:00PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO At 537 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of Rocheport, or 10 miles southeast of Boonville, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Prairie Home and Wooldridge. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for central Missouri. Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from windows.

THE NEW WATCH IS VALID FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN MISSOURI THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 5 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL MISSOURI COOPER HOWARD PETTIS IN WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI BATES HENRY THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ADRIAN, BOONVILLE, BUTLER, CLINTON, FAYETTE, GLASGOW, NEW FRANKLIN, RICH HILL, SEDALIA, AND WINDSOR.
