If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Special Weather Statement issued September 28 at 4:07AM EDT by NWS Northern Indiana Fog and locally dense fog is possible this morning. Observations have been fluctuating between at or less than 2 miles and greater than than that threshold, indicating a potential for shallow or transient fog as opposed to more dense fog. Nighttime satellite has been indicating the formation of fog, but the extent of it is uncertain. Denser and expanding fog is possible as we head into this morning up until around sunrise. Webcams in these areas hint at the possibility of fog as well. Upon encountering fog, increase following distance, slow down, and use low beam headlights.
