Special Weather Statement issued July 7 at 3:28AM CDT by NWS Bismarck ND At 228 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles south of Amidon, or 12 miles northeast of Bowman, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Amidon. Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions.
