Trees are still mostly green and fully leafed, causing them to be more vulnerable to damage from the strong winds. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds will be focused along the coast from Anchor Point north to Kenai and Nikiski. The gusty southerly winds will continue through late this morning before slowly diminishing later in the afternoon. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects.
