Southwestern Morgan County in southeastern Ohio... Northeastern Vinton County in southeastern Ohio... West Central Washington County in southeastern Ohio... * WHEN...Until 200 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1042 AM EDT, Doppler radar and area rain gauges indicated between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain fell overnight resulting in creeks rising out of their banks and flooding adjacent roads. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Athens, Nelsonville, Lake Hope State Park, Chauncey, Buchtel, Amesville, The Plains, Stroud Run State Park and Creola. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
