Flood Watch issued September 19 at 11:17AM EDT until September 20 at 8:00AM EDT by NWS Grand Rapids MI * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Michigan, including the following counties, in south central Michigan, Calhoun. In southwest Michigan, Allegan, Barry, Kalamazoo and Van Buren. * WHEN...Through Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - 1 to 3 inches of rain has fallen across the Flood Watch area. Some localized ponding of water has been reported. This afternoon will bring a lull in the activity, however more rain will spread in this evening and continue through the night. Precipitation is expected to taper off Sunday morning.
