For the Pascagoula River...including Graham Ferry...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pascagoula River at Graham Ferry. * WHEN...From Friday evening until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, River property at Cumbest Bluff will be cut off by high water and some river roads will be impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow evening and continue rising to a crest of 16.5 feet early Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 16.5 feet on 08/30/2022. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms with locally very heavy rainfall are expected today and potentially continuing through tonight. THE NEW WATCH IS VALID FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN LOUISIANA THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 2 PARISHES IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA ST. TAMMANY WASHINGTON IN MISSISSIPPI THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 4 COUNTIES IN SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI HANCOCK HARRISON JACKSON PEARL RIVER THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BAY ST. LOUIS, BOGALUSA, COVINGTON, CROSSROADS, DIAMONDHEAD, ENON, FRANKLINTON, GAUTIER, GULFPORT, LACOMBE, MANDEVILLE, MCNEIL, MOSS POINT, OCEAN SPRINGS, PASCAGOULA, PICAYUNE, SLIDELL, ST.
