HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Batesville, Sardis, Como, Crenshaw, Sledge, Curtis Station, Darling, Pleasant Grove, Falcon, Mims, Longtown, Asa, Ballentine, Locke Station, Essex, Horatio, and Chapeltown. This includes Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 248 and 257. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
