Flood Advisory issued June 11 at 11:24PM EDT until June 12 at 3:30AM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northeastern Hamilton County in central Indiana... Southwestern Madison County in central Indiana... * WHEN...Until 330 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1124 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Anderson, Noblesville, Cicero, Lapel, Edgewood, Arcadia, Woodlawn Heights, Country Club Heights and River Forest. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
