Thomas County in northwestern Kansas... Northwestern Gove County in west central Kansas... Logan County in west central Kansas... Southeastern Wallace County in west central Kansas... * WHEN...Until 145 PM CDT /1245 PM MDT/. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 747 AM CDT /647 AM MDT/, emergency management reported heavy rain in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Colby, Oakley, Grinnell, Levant, Rexford, Selden, Winona, Monument, Gem, Menlo, Wallace, Russell Springs, Mingo, Halford, Angelus and Seguin. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
