Special Weather Statement issued May 20 at 5:50PM MDT by NWS Great Falls MT Snow and rain showers will continue to reduce visibility to less than 2 miles through late this afternoon along and southeast of a line from Raynolds Pass to Big Sky. This includes the West Yellowstone and Targhee Pass areas. Isolated embedded thunderstorms may also cause periods of heavier precipitation, possibly with some small hail up to pea size, and wind gusts up to 40 mph. Minor slushy snow accumulation on roadways will make travel difficult. If you are planning to travel through this area, be prepared for rapidly changing visibility and road conditions.
