yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect At 6:54 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain. This thunderstorm is just east of Grande Cache and moving eastward at 20 km/h. ### Large hail may cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris and hail.

yellow warning - rainfall - in effect Heavy rain with totals near 50 to 70 mm is expected. Heavy rain will begin tonight and continue through to Sunday. Isolated thunderstorms are possible throughout this event and could locally enhance rainfall amounts. The rain will taper off Sunday night. ### Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas.
