Coastal Flood Warning issued June 18 at 8:03PM CDT until June 19 at 4:00PM CDT by NWS New Orleans LA * WHAT...Significant coastal flooding during high tide cycles. * WHERE...In Louisiana, Lower St. Bernard, Southeast St. Tammany and Eastern Orleans Parishes. In Mississippi, Southern Hancock County. * WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure will be inundated. Some shoreline erosion will occur. Wednesday morning water could cover several roads in the Shoreline Park area around Bay St. Louis If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. This includes ground-level storage, which could be flooded in some of the lowest lying coastal areas.

Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
