Tomorrow (25 September) until Saturday (26 September): Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental, and Sarangani. HAZARDS AFFECTING COASTAL WATERS 24-Hour Sea Condition Outlook Coastal waters have forecast wave heights of less than 2.0 m. TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK It must be emphasized that heavy rainfall and severe winds may still be experienced in localities outside the landfall point and the forecast confidence cone. Refer to “Other Hazards affecting Land Areas” for more details. Furthermore, the track may still shift within the limit of the forecast confidence cone. Tropical Storm QUEENIE will generally move west northwestward until Friday (25 September) before turning north northeastward by Monday (28 September) and will exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Tuesday (29 September) morning. This tropical cyclone will gradually intensify while inside the PAR. It may reach typhoon category by Sunday (27 September).

The 12-hour rainfall forecast is Light to moderate rains and thunderstorms. WATERCOURSES STILL LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED : + **Northern Samar** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Catarman, Bugko, Pambujan, Catubig, Palapag, Mawo and Gamay. + **Eastern Samar** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Oras, Dolores, Ulot, Taft, Borongan, Suribao, Llorente, Balangiga and Sulat. + **Biliran** - All rivers and its tributaries + **Southern Leyte** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Bisay, Himbangan and Pandan. + **Samar** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Basey, Silanga, Calbiga and Jibatan. + **Leyte** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Sangputan, Palo, Solano (Quilot), Daguitan Marabang, Cadac-an, Bongquirogon, Salug, Pagbangahan, Pagsangahan and Binahaan. People living near the mountain slopes and in the low lying areas of the above mentioned river systems and the **Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils** concerned still advised to take necessary precautionary measures.
