Waters from Suwannee River to Apalachicola FL from 20 to 60 NM... * Until 945 AM EDT. * At 843 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 7 nm southeast of Buckeye Reef to 11 nm southeast of K Tower, moving northwest at 25 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. * Locations impacted include... Buckeye Reef, K Tower, and Marker 24 Barge. Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor immediately.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
