Waters from Suwannee River to Apalachicola FL from 20 to 60 NM... At 642 AM EDT, a shower with gusty winds was located near K Tower, moving north at 35 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher waves...and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Locations impacted include... K Tower and Marker 24 Barge. Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are expected.

Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
