Neosho River at Oswego affecting Labette and Cherokee Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River at Oswego. * WHEN...From late tonight to early Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 19.5 feet, Xavier Road leading north from the river gage begins to see water near the road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 11.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 19.4 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage late Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet. Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away.
