Northern La Salle County in north central Illinois... Southeastern Lee County in north central Illinois... * WHEN...Until 1145 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. High water may recede slowly from flooded areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 931 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms from earlier this morning. Minor flooding is occurring in the advisory area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sandwich, Lake Holiday, Somonauk, Earlville, Leland, Paw Paw, Sublette and West Brooklyn. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring.
