Wabash River at New Harmony. .Minor flooding continues on the Wabash River at New Harmony, with a projected crest of 16.1 feet early Sunday morning. For the Wabash River...including New Harmony...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at New Harmony. * WHEN...Until Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, The river overflows low ground on the Illinois side. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 15.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.1 feet early Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Wednesday morning, July 1st. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
