IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Peoria, Normal, Pekin, East Peoria, Morton, Eureka, Washington, Bartonville, Creve Coeur, West Peoria, Marquette Heights, El Paso, Lexington, Bellevue, Hudson, Chenoa, Gridley, Colfax, Goodfield and Deer Creek. This includes the following State Parks... Mackinaw River State Fish and Wildlife Area. This includes the following highways... Interstate 39 between mile markers 1 and 16. Interstate 74 between mile markers 86 and 124. Interstate 55 between mile markers 165 and 187. Interstate 155 between mile markers 27 and 31. Interstate 474 between mile markers 0 and 14. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
