Flood Advisory issued June 7 at 6:51PM EDT until June 7 at 8:45PM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Central Madison County in central Indiana... Southern Delaware County in east central Indiana... Northern Henry County in east central Indiana... Southwestern Randolph County in east central Indiana... * WHEN...Until 845 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 651 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Anderson, New Castle, Yorktown, Chesterfield, Frankton, Daleville, Sulphur Springs, Mooreland, Mount Summit, Losantville, Springport, Blountsville, Country Club Heights, Summit Lake State Park and Prairie Creek Reservoir. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
