Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates. Check with local emergency management officials for information on cooling center availability.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Taylor, Romulus, Canton, Dearborn, Wyandotte, Belleville, Greenfield Village, Westland, Dearborn Heights, Lincoln Park, Southgate, Allen Park, Garden City, Inkster, Wayne, Melvindale, Ecorse, and River Rouge. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
