Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas of blowing dust will develop Thursday afternoon and will be more significant south of I-40, especially in southern Chaves County where very low visibility may create dangerous driving conditions. Motorists traveling in or through Chaves County on Thursday afternoon may consider alternate routes. Take action to secure trash cans, lawn furniture, and other loose or lightweight outdoor objects. Extremely hazardous driving conditions can be expected, especially for motorists in high profile vehicles who should consider delaying travel.
