THIS ALSO INCLUDES THE COTTONWOOD FIRE... ...RED FLAG WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT MDT SATURDAY TO 3 AM MDT SUNDAY FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 493 AND 496... * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 493 Central Utah Mountains and Fire Weather Zone 496 Color Country Mountains. This includes the Cottonwood Fire in Beaver and Piute Counties. * WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 7 percent with little overnight recovery Friday night. * IMPACTS...This is a Particularly Dangerous Situation. Extreme fire weather conditions are expected. Any new fire starts or existing fires may spread rapidly. This is a Particularly Dangerous Situation that poses a significant threat to life and property in the event of a wildfire start or with an existing fire. Residents are urged to assemble an emergency supply kit and know their evacuation routes. In some cases, safe and timely evacuation may not be possible should a fire approach. Have multiple ways to receive instructions from emergency services, and evacuate if ordered to or if a fire threatens.

Localized areas of blowing dust may result in periods of reduced visibility. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles and vehicles with trailers. Use extra caution.
