Flood Watch issued June 23 at 5:35AM CDT until June 24 at 10:00AM CDT by NWS Goodland KS Continuing heavy rain this morning and the potential for more heavy rain Tuesday night into Wednesday morning continues to lead to flooding concerns. * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of northwest Kansas, including the following areas, Cheyenne KS, Decatur and Rawlins and southwest Nebraska, including the following areas, Dundy and Hitchcock. * WHEN...Through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Excessive runoff may result in additional flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
