orange warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect At 2:15 p.m. CST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, golf ball to tennis ball size hail and very heavy rain. Thunderstorm Location: About 20 km west of Little Swan River Motion: Moving quickly to the southeast at 60 km/h Hazards: Wind: damaging (90 - 110 km/h) Hail: golf ball to tennis ball size (4.5 to 6.9 cm) Rain: very heavy (50 - 100 mm) Locations in the Path: Little Swan River Danbury Swan Plain ### Large hail will likely cause significant damage and injury. There is a risk of serious injury. Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris and hail. Don't drive through flooded roadways.
