East Fork White River at Seymour. White River at Hazleton. .Widespread rainfall amounts of two to three inches over southern Indiana over the next day or so is expected to bring a return to minor flooding to the East Fork White at Seymour and the White River at Hazleton. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Hazleton. * WHEN...From this morning to Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Flood waters cover the Hazleton softball field. Pottsville Road is underwater and impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is no current observed data. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.8 feet early Monday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. In south central Indiana, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence and Monroe. In southeast Indiana, Jennings. In southwest Indiana, Daviess, Greene, Knox, Martin and Sullivan. In west central Indiana, Clay, Owen and Vigo. * WHEN...Through Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall will impact southern portions of central Indiana through early Saturday. 1 to 3 inches of rainfall is expected with locally higher amounts. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings.
