Special Weather Statement issued September 14 at 6:48PM CDT by NWS Topeka KS At 648 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Webber, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Courtland and Republic. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for north central Kansas.
