Beach Hazards Statement issued September 23 at 9:46PM CDT until September 23 at 10:00PM CDT by NWS Chicago IL Waves have largely fallen below 3 to 4 feet and the Beach Hazards Statement will be allowed to expire. However, lingering currents and easterly breezes will result in a moderate swim risk tonight into Thursday morning.
