Special Weather Statement issued June 5 at 3:34PM CDT by NWS Grand Forks ND Showers and thunderstorms have developed across the Devils Lake area into the Sheyenne Basin. Conditions are favorable for funnel clouds with any thunderstorm that develops. These types of funnel clouds are usually short lived, however, they can and occasionally do touch the ground and cause minor damage. Therefore, if you see a funnel cloud, take cover immediately. Broadcast media has passed on a report from the public of one such funnel near Leeds, ND.
