Frosts with temperatures down to -3 degrees are forecast for Thursday morning in parts of the Northern Country, North Central, North East and Central forecast districts. Frost Warning Temperatures at ground level can be many degrees lower than those recorded by standard weather stations, especially in calm conditions with very clear skies.

Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperatures, rainfall and northerly winds are expected during Thursday. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the North East and East Gippsland forecast districts. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
