Flood Watch issued June 25 at 1:17PM CDT until June 27 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Paducah KY * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Missouri, southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, and far northwest Kentucky. * WHEN...Through Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are expected through Friday night. Repeated rounds of heavy rainfall from thunderstorms could produce flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Flood Advisory issued June 25 at 3:21PM CDT until June 25 at 5:15PM CDT by NWS Paducah KY * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following counties, Edwards, Wabash and Wayne and southwest Indiana, including the following county, Gibson. * WHEN...Until 515 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 320 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen, and minor street flooding was already reported in and around Princeton, Indiana, with more heavy rainfall expected. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Princeton, Mount Carmel, Fairfield, Fort Branch, Oakland City, Albion, Grayville, Lancaster, Haubstadt, Owensville, Wayne City, West Salem, Patoka, Cisne, Allendale, Francisco, Jeffersonville, Somerville, Bellmont, and Hazleton. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Special Weather Statement issued June 25 at 3:47PM CDT by NWS Paducah KY At 347 PM CDT/447 PM EDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Lynnville to near Grayville. Movement was southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Evansville, Princeton, Mount Carmel, Fort Branch, Oakland City, Albion, Grayville, Haubstadt, Darmstadt, Owensville, Poseyville, Lynnville, Winslow, New Harmony, Patoka, Cynthiana, Folsomville, Elberfeld, Francisco, and Somerville. This includes the following highways... Interstate 69 in Indiana between Mile Markers 17 and 47. Interstate 64 in Indiana between Mile Markers 1 and 54. Interstate 64 in Illinois between Mile Markers 127 and 130. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
