Special Weather Statement issued June 12 at 12:28AM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH At 1228 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Vandalia to 6 miles southeast of Brookville, moving east at 80 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Cincinnati, Dayton, Hamilton, Kettering, Middletown, Beavercreek, Fairfield, Huber Heights, Fairborn, Mason, Xenia, Miamisburg, Lebanon, Norwood, Forest Park, Springboro, Sharonville, Wilmington, Monroe, and Blue Ash. This includes the following Interstates... I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 40 and 41. I-71 in Ohio between mile markers 5 and 66. I-74 in Ohio between mile markers 7 and 19. I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 4 and 52. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM EDT for central, southwestern and west central Ohio.
