Heat Advisory issued July 22 at 9:07AM CDT until July 23 at 8:00PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX * WHAT...Heat index values up to 112 expected. * WHERE...Bandera, Blanco, Dimmit, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Uvalde, and Zavala Counties. * WHEN...Until 8 PM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Overnight temperatures will stay in the 80s prompting a heat advisory to remain in effect through the overnight hours. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
