Flash Flood Warning issued June 19 at 8:39AM CDT until June 19 at 10:45AM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX At 839 AM CDT, emergency management reported flash flooding ongoing across the warned area. Multiple roads are impassable across portions of downtown Dallas due to high water, with underpasses being the most impacted. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Dallas, Plano, Garland, Irving, Grand Prairie, Mesquite, McKinney, Carrollton, Frisco, Richardson, Lewisville, Allen, Rowlett, Desoto and Wylie. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 723 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
