Movement was southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Elizabeth, Mineralwells, Cairo, Reedy, Cherry, Peewee, Smithville, Walker, Petroleum, Palestine, Lucille, Freeport, Greencastle, Morristown, Big Springs, Davisville, Creston, Rockport, Brohard, and Macfarlan. This includes the following highways... Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 158 and 171. Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 13 and 24, and near mile marker 27. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
