Adair County in southwestern Iowa... * Until 700 AM CDT. * At 558 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Shelby to near Coin, moving east at 70 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include... Creston, Atlantic, Greenfield, Mount Ayr, Corning, Bedford, Stuart, Lenox, Griswold, Green Valley Lake, Lake Icaria, Anita, Fontanelle, Lewis, New Market, Orient, Clearfield, Massena, Diagonal, and Cumberland.
