While this is currently forecast to gradually fade below advisory thresholds tonight, there is some uncertainty in how quickly this will occur and it is possible that advisory level surf may persist through Tuesday even as the swell becomes southwesterly. * WHAT...For south facing shores, large surf becoming 7 to 10 ft today. For west facing shores of the Big Island, large surf becoming 6 to 8 ft today. * WHERE...West facing shores of the Big Island and south facing shores of all Hawaiian Islands (excluding Southeast Big Island). * WHEN...Until 6 PM HST this evening. * IMPACTS...Moderate.
