Florida Bay including Barnes Sound, Blackwater Sound, and Buttonwood Sound... Gulf Waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee 20 to 60 nm out and beyond 5 fathoms... Hawk Channel from west end of Seven Mile Bridge to Halfmoon Shoal out to the reef... At 1138 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a line of thunderstorms, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 nm northeast of Gulfside 8 Reef to NEAR Annette Key, moving northeast at 10 knots. Locations that will be affected include... Gulfside 10 Reef, Annette Key, Tavernier Creek, Dump Keys, Howe Key, Bonefish Tower and Twin Keys. Environmental conditions favor waterspout formation. A waterspout would most likely appear beneath a dark, flat bottom of a building cumulus line, just at the hint of rain.
