Flash Flood Warning issued June 21 at 6:43PM EDT until June 21 at 9:30PM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN FFWIND The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Sullivan County in southwestern Indiana... Southwestern Vigo County in west central Indiana... * Until 930 PM EDT. * At 643 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.25 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Sullivan, Shelburn, Farmersburg, Fairbanks, Pimento and Graysville. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

In south central Indiana, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence and Monroe. In southeast Indiana, Jennings. In southwest Indiana, Daviess, Greene, Knox, Martin and Sullivan.
