In west central Indiana, Clay, Owen and Vigo. * WHEN...From this afternoon through Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Special Weather Statement issued June 25 at 6:07AM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN At 607 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles south of Marshall, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Sullivan, Shelburn, Prairie Creek, Farmersburg, Hymera, Fairbanks, Merom, Turtle Creek Reservoir, and Graysville. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
