Southeastern Bexar County in south central Texas... Guadalupe County in south central Texas... * Until 200 PM CDT. * At 900 AM CDT, the public reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain causing flash flooding at Cibolo Creek at FM 78. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Public reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... San Antonio, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Schertz, Seguin, Cibolo, Converse, Universal City, Live Oak, Selma, Luling, Randolph AFB, San Antonio Int Airport, Kirby, Alamo Heights, Windcrest, Terrell Hills, McQueeney, St. Hedwig and Elmendorf. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Flood Watch issued July 14 at 1:59PM CDT until July 16 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX * WHAT...Flooding and flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Guadalupe County. * WHEN...Through Thursday evening. * IMPACTS...There is a potential for life threatening flooding somewhere in the watch area. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Intense rainfall rates and compounding effects from multiple rounds of storms will result in a dangerous flash flooding threat through Thursday.
