Special Weather Statement issued July 10 at 7:08AM CDT by NWS Lincoln IL A narrow area of dense fog has formed over central Illinois, most prominent from Peoria through Bloomington to near Paxton. Visibility within this band of fog is less than a quarter of a mile. Conditions are expected to improve by 9 am. Be sure to slow down if you encounter dense fog. Use low beam headlights if driving, and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle ahead.
