Flood Warning issued July 8 at 3:16AM CDT until July 8 at 8:00AM CDT by NWS Aberdeen SD * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Southwestern Day County in northeastern South Dakota... * WHEN...Until 800 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 316 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Webster, Bristol, Pierpont, Andover, Butler, Lily, Holmquist, Antelope Lake, Waubay Lake, Rush Lake and Bitter Lake. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
