Frosts with temperatures down to -2 degrees are forecast for Tuesday morning in parts of the Mallee, Wimmera, Northern Country, North Central, North East, South West, Central and West and South Gippsland forecast districts. Frost Warning Temperatures at ground level can be many degrees lower than those recorded by standard weather stations, especially in calm conditions with very clear skies.

Sheep graziers are warned that cold temperature and southeasterly winds are expected during Tuesday morning and Wednesday morning. Areas likely to be affected include parts of the North East forecast district. There is a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
