Flood Warning issued June 22 at 12:24PM EDT until June 27 at 6:48AM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... Illinois... White River at Elliston. White River at Petersburg. White River at Hazleton. White River at Edwardsport. Wabash River at Vincennes. Wabash River at Riverton. Wabash River at Terre Haute. Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site. Wabash River at Montezuma. Wabash River at Mount Carmel. East Fork White River at Seymour. .Heavy rainfall has brought minor lowland flooding to much of the Wabash River, the lower White River, and the East Fork White at Seymour. The crest on the Wabash is near Riverton. The crest on the White is approaching Centerton, and on the East Fork white is approaching Seymour. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Hazleton. * WHEN...From this evening to Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Floodwaters cover much low ground in agricultural season. Low lying oil fields...Pottsville Road and possibly a few other low rural roads flood. High water isolates Pottstown, a river cabin community. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is no current observed data. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 18.0 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage Friday evening. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
