Flood Warning issued June 28 at 12:35PM CDT until June 28 at 6:30PM CDT by NWS Louisville KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of central and south central Kentucky, including the following counties, in central Kentucky, Green and Hart. In south central Kentucky, Adair, Barren, Clinton, Cumberland, Metcalfe and Russell. * WHEN...Until 630 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1235 PM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms.
