Big Black River Near Bentonia affecting Madison and Yazoo Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Big Black River near Bentonia. * WHEN...Until late Friday morning. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 23.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Thursday afternoon and continue falling. - Flood stage is 22.0 feet. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
