Flood Watch issued June 6 at 12:22PM CDT until June 7 at 4:00PM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Most of western North Texas, roughly along and west of Interstate 35. * WHEN...Through Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Widespread rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected with localized rainfall totals as high as 6 to 8 inches possible. The heaviest rainfall is expected from Saturday evening into Sunday morning. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

Flood Advisory issued June 6 at 4:51PM CDT until June 6 at 8:00PM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Wise County in north central Texas... * WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 450 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms slowly moving across Wise County. Radar estimates between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen in the past hour. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts of up to 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Decatur, Bridgeport, Alvord, Chico, Paradise, Lake Bridgeport, Runaway Bay, Cottondale, Balsora, Keeter, Boonsville and Greenwood. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
