Pocahontas County in northeastern West Virginia... Southwestern Randolph County in northeastern West Virginia... Webster County in northeastern West Virginia... Northeastern Fayette County in southeastern West Virginia... Nicholas County in southeastern West Virginia... * WHEN...Until 230 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 921 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional light rainfall will continue across the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Summersville, Richwood, Marlinton, Clay, Webster Springs, Cass Scenic Railroad, Green Bank, Addison (Webster Springs), Camden-On-gauley, Camden On Gauley, Craigsville, Snowshoe, Glen, Mingo, Cowen, Durbin, Hillsboro, Bergoo, Upper Glade, and Waneta. - This includes Route 19 between mile markers 34 and 49. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
