Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S affecting Scott and Clinton Counties. Iowa River at Marengo affecting Iowa and Benton Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S. * WHEN...Until early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, overbank flooding occurs. Water affects residences along the river between Wheatland and Calamus. Water affects businesses along the river near Calamus. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Monday morning and continue falling to 8.6 feet Saturday, June 27. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
